Bending machine
Stretch bending machine
A stretch bender is a bending machine for the stretch bend method. Force is applied in the longitudinal direction of the workpiece to stretch it in this direction using the stretch bend method so that spring back and variations in the products are suppressed. In comparison with press bending, the number of portions controlled increases as much as the added tensile force, which results in the creation of high quality. The stretch bending method is broadly used for parts relevant to door sashes, moles, channels, and rails. Stretch benders are roughly categorized into various types, such as the wrap arm, rotary (including gyro), and vertical types. The wrap arm type has options, including a rotary table, to change molds. Other setup systems are also available.
The bender machine is mainly used for bending the rails of sliding doors. Rollers force the workpiece to copy the mold in this method. It is suitable for high-variety, low-volume production thanks to the small mold. It is superior in yield ratio since one side of the workpiece is not clamped. Adjustment of pressing pressure can change the bending to adapt to variations in the material lot.

Proposal for work savings
While the majority of the power source for the bender used to use hydraulics, recent benders use electrical servomotors for better work savings and higher accuracy. They still leave the hydraulic portion, but inverter control saves labor. Some cases show savings of 80% or more in actual use. We offer designing and products with cost savings always in mind, such as a combination that enables overall profit. We will keep proposing benders that meet customer needs by listening to customer voices.
